Corporate/Community Teams
Get your group together and join us for the 2008 Komen Quad Cities Race for the Cure ®! Be a part of one of the most exciting and meaningful community events in the area and show your support for the fight against breast cancer.
On June 14, more than 8000 people will Race for the Cure, and 2000 of them will be members of corporate or community teams. Teams have a variety of reasons for participating – some to support a co-worker or friend with breast cancer, some to support a great cause and all to have a good time.
Team Packet Pickup
As a Corporate or Community Team, you’ll have the convenience of having us pack all your team race packets, t-shirts, etc. in one box that you can pick up early, giving you time to distribute to your team members a few days in advance of the Race. Team Packet Pickup will be Wednesday, June 11 from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Carver Physical Education Center at Augustana College in Rock Island. (Boxes not picked up on Wednesday will be available during regular Packet Pickup on Friday, June 13, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the iWireless Center in downtown Moline. Directions to Augustana College and a map of the campus can be found at the links below:
